Kayzen app · Last updated: 26 August 2026
Kayzen collects no data. Nothing leaves your device, because nothing is ever asked of it.
The Kayzen app is published by Askmethat. Contact: ateixeira@askmethat.fr.
None. Kayzen collects, transmits and shares no personal data. Concretely, the app:
The habits you add, their goal in minutes, and the days you practised them are stored only in the app's private storage, on your device. Android reserves that space for Kayzen: other apps cannot reach it.
None of it is sent to anyone — not to Askmethat, not to Google, not to any third party. We have no access to it and can neither read nor restore it.
Kayzen deliberately disables Android's automatic backup
(allowBackup="false"). Your habits are therefore never copied to
Google's servers, and are not transferred when you change phone.
This is a deliberate privacy choice, with a consequence you should know about: uninstalling the app, or changing device, erases your habits permanently.
Since nothing leaves your device, deletion is entirely in your hands: uninstall the app, or clear its storage from Settings › Apps › Kayzen › Storage. Deletion is immediate and permanent; we hold no copy to delete on our side.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) governs the processing of personal data. Kayzen carries out no processing: for your habit data there is no controller in the sense of the regulation, no recipient, no transfer and no retention period to declare, because that data never reaches us.
Your rights of access, rectification and erasure are therefore exercised directly in the app and on your device. For any question, write to ateixeira@askmethat.fr.
Kayzen is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects no data about them — as it collects none at all, whatever the age of the person using it.
Should a future version change this behaviour — by adding backup or synchronisation, for instance — this policy will be updated before that version is published, and the date at the top of this page changed accordingly.
This policy is governed by French law.
